UICC launches new cancer capacity-building fund [Новость добавлена - 05.12.2007]
Apply for grants now! The International Union Against Cancer has launched a fund for community-based member organizations in resource-constrained countries.
The fund aims to improve their capacity to develop community projects that will be sustainable over time. It offers small grants of up to USD 3,000 and strategic project grants of USD 10,000-15,000. Application deadline 15 December 2007 Small grants are intended to build the cancer control capacity of staff and volunteers in UICC member organizations by helping them to participate in and learn from activities and campaigns conducted by established voluntary cancer societies. Strategic project grants are intended to improve the capacity of member organizations to develop and implement cancer control programmes. Grants may be awarded to initiate new or expand existing programmes. |
