Interregional Cancer Hospital Bulgaria
Because of the International Hospice and Palliative Care Day Vratsa Municipality organize open meeting and discussion entitled "Living with.., instead dying from…" between leading specialists in pain control, psychological support and palliative treatment from the palliative care department of the Interregional Cancer Hospital – Vratsa and non government organizations of elderly people and patients' living with chronic diseases.

Asociatia Lumina Hospice Casa Albert Romania
Thirty of Hospice Casa Albert's pediatric patients will have their paintings displayed at the Arena Mall in Bacau, Romania. Information about hospice/palliative care worldwide and specific to Romania, as well as information about Hospice Casa Albert, will be displayed along with the children's artwork. A table will be set up near the exhibit with brochures about Hospice Casa Albert and a donation box.
A smaller exhibit consisting of 6 paintings will also be on display at the local G-Market.
The exhibits will be in the Arena Mall and G-Market from Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12. At the conclusion of the exhibits, interested persons may donate money for the purchase of a painting.

Benefit concert of afro-americans spirituals presented by the vocal band GESHEM, which takes place on Saturday October 11th, 2008 from 6 p.m. in the chapel of the Church of Seventh-day Adventis in Prague 5
Benefit concert of the spiritual music, which takes place on Sunday October 12th, 2008 from 4 p.m. in the Church of St. Family in Prague 6.
