The International AIDS Alliance is an established non-governmental organisation (NGO) working on HIV around the world. Like many NGOs they are increasingly decentralising making regional and local engagement vital. As part of their work the alliance has an onward granting system where funds are accessed centrally and disbursed to their ‘national linking organisations’ who then disburse to other international NGOs and community-based organisations working in HIV.
