Air Travel
As you will be aware, the situation regarding air travel continues to alter on a daily basis due to the volcanic ash cloud. However, following the most recent eruption, restrictions on flying in UK air space were relaxed further and resulted in minimal disruption, so we are confident that delegates will be able to travel as planned to Glasgow. The EAPC would like to confirm that Congress will go ahead as planned and that the situation is being monitored closely on a daily basis.
Regular updates will be made available from week commencing Monday 24 May on the EAPC website. If you have any concerns prior to travel, please refer to the website for information on UK airports and any flight restrictions. However, we must stress that you should also contact your own travel provider for information if you have any concerns specific to your personal travel and find out if restrictions are in place on your day of travel either from your departure location or at your final flight destination.

Conference Programme
We are pleased to re-confirm that a copy of the most up to date programme is available on the EAPC website at www.eapcnet.org/research2010
The detailed Scientific Programme, Programme at a Glance and a full listing of the poster presentations can then be found by clicking on 'Scientific Information'. The programme will, of course, also be detailed in the brochure you will receive at registration.
Registration at Congress
The registration desk will be located in Hall 1 of the SECC. Registration will be open from 0900 hours on Thursday 10th June and also from 1600-2100 hours on Wednesday 9th June for anyone wishing to register and collect their delegate bag the night before.
Please check your confirmation letter
Please check your personal contact details on your confirmation letter, which will have been emailed to you after you booked online. Please contact us immediately if the booking is in any way incorrect. Your name will be reproduced on your delegate badge, so if the spelling is incorrect, now is the time to tell us as we cannot correct your badge at the event. If there are any amendments required please email them to sheila@compleatconference.
The Civic Reception
If you have booked to attend the Civic Reception, your ticket(s) will be inserted behind your delegate badge, which will be given to you at registration. Please check you have the correct ticket(s) whilst at the registration desk. If you have not selected to attend the Civic Reception and would like to, please email sheila@compleatconference.
Catering
Lunch and refreshments will be served each day and are included in your conference fee.
Sessions
Delegates are advised that all sessions within the conference are on a first come, first served basis on the day and no pre-booking of sessions is available. This allows delegates to move around with freedom and avoids places being wasted by non attendees.
Keeping in contact
A message board will be available at registration to make contact with colleagues at Congress. If you are part of a Special Interest Group please feel free to use this board to provide details of when/where you will be meeting.
An internet café will be provided in the main exhibition hall and WiFi is freely available throughout the conference centre.
